What do the symbols mean on a label?
/!\ A symbol with bars means that a care stage must not be carried out on the product
Washing
This symbol indicates the first step of care: washing. The numbers on the inside of the drum indicate the maximum washing temperature in °C. A hand in the drum means that you should handwash. An underlined symbol shows particular precautions to take.
Bleaching
This symbol means that you can use whitening with all types of products, namely with chlorine (for example, bleach) or oxygen
Using a clothes dryer
This symbol is to give you advice on the temperature for your clothes dryer: 1 point for a medium temperature, 2 points means no temperature restriction
Ironing
This symbol defines, by 1, 2 or3 points, the maximum temperature for ironing
Dry cleaning
This symbol is used by professional dry cleaners. The letters inside the circle: P, F or W indicate the suitable processes and solvents tolerated by the textile item. The symbol when underlined shows particular precautions to take
